About BASN

Bay Area Startup Network (BASN) provides events and resources to help startup entrepreneurs grow and finance their companies.

Events

The US Angel Investors/BASN Screening Meeting is an event where invited companies present to a screening committee. After screening, selected companies are invited to present to the monthly US Angel Investors meeting (usually the next month). It is usually held on the second Wednesday of the month.

The US Angel Investors monthly Investor Meeting -Palo Alto is for selected companies to present to private investors and is usually held on the third Thursday of the month.

The US Angel Investors Investors/BOF Meeting -Reno is for selected companies to present to private investors. Check the C4Cube web site www.c4cube.com for schedules ly dates.


The BASN FASTPITCH breakfasts are for CEOs that wish to improve their "elevator" presentation. The selected entrepreneurs present their companies in front of guest investors (VCs or angel investors). The format is oral pitch only (no Powerpoint, no props, 6-8 mn total time including Q&A).

Additionally, BASN holds brownbag lunch meetings focused on issues of interest to startup entrepreneurs. and VC Forum meetings where selected startups present to members of the Venture Capital community.
